Toronto has over 200 theatre venues, 150+ festivals, 85 neighbourhoods, 326 parks, at least 77 art galleries and approximately 18,000 eateries. But you wont find them all in this app. Instead, youll find a thoughtfully chosen selection of attractions, districts, restaurants, cafes, outdoor escapes and off-beat sites, so you can make the most of your time and money in this vibrant, multi-cultural city.

For the price of a cappuccino at Balzacs Coffee, a gorgeous TO coffee shop (just one of the over 65 hand-picked food/drink entries listed inside), youll be able to:

*save money with over 50 free things to do including gems like a University of Toronto historic walking tour, Allen Gardens Conservatory and High Park Zoo.
*impress your friends with obscure facts included in the useless trivia section in various entries. Did you know theres a piece of the Berlin Wall in the freedom arch at Nathan Phillips Square or that Toronto claims the 3rd largest Hellenic community outside of Greece?
*get insider advice, whether its the best place to enjoy dim sum in Chinatown or the best time of day to avoid crowds at the Ontario Science Centre.
*entertain the kids with the complete listing of family-friendly attractions and places.
*enjoy every minute of your vacation in Toronto, instead of wasting precious time wading through websites.

This app includes the major attractions - CN Tower, Art Gallery of Ontario, Royal Ontario Museum, Zoo, Toronto Island - but also gives you a window to other sides of this thriving city. Take a contemporary art tour in the trendy West Queen West neighbourhood. Browse through the eclectic Kensington Market. Indulge in Torontos best poutine. Cheer on a sports team. See a musical. Bird watch along the waterfront. Hang out at the beach. What do you want to do in Toronto?

Find it in this app with:
* more than 200 entries and 1400 photos sorted by cost, neighbourhood and category;
* Maps and GPS tracking;
* information that goes beyond the generic blurbs or unfiltered lists of free apps;
* free updates and offline content you can access anywhere.

A teenage journey to the Arctic Circle sparked Jennifers life-long love affair with travel. In 1992, she travelled abroad, teaching English as a Foreign Language in the UK, Hungary, Ukraine, Egypt and Singapore. She returned to Canada in 1999, settling in Toronto, where she began teaching new immigrants. She immediately fell in love with her new home, a truly multi-cultural, ever-changing city that satisfies a travellers soul. After twelve years, she never tires of exploring the vibrant neighbourhoods, trying new restaurants, people-watching in cafes, checking out new exhibitions, galleries, museums and hiking in the citys many green spaces.

Wanting to share her discoveries about Toronto and her travels, she embarked upon a second career as a freelance travel writer. She is a regular contributor to Buffalo News in their One-Tank Trip column, often writing about her adopted hometown. Other publications include VIA Destinations, Montreal Families, Toronto Star, Sudbury Living, Forever Young and online at tripatlas.com.
